Ahmad Jawid Rashidee is a dedicated professional with over 14 years of diverse experience in education, legal advising, translation, and social services. Based in Sacramento, California, he currently serves as an Instructional Para-Educator at Highlands Community Charter and Technical School (HCCTS). Previously, he worked with the San Juan Unified School District, supporting English learners—particularly Dari/Farsi-speaking newcomer students—by helping them navigate the school system, build language skills, and gain academic confidence.
Mr. Rashidee began his career in Afghanistan, holding key roles with the government and international organizations. As a Juvenile Justice Advisor with the U.S.-funded Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP), he contributed to legal reform through capacity-building, training, and advocacy on child rights and human rights.
He holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Panjab University, India, and a Bachelor of Law and Political Sciences from Kabul University, Afghanistan.
Fluent in English, Dari, and Pashto, Mr. Rashidee combines cross-cultural communication skills with expertise in law and education. He is deeply committed to empowering underserved communities—especially immigrants, youth, and marginalized groups—by expanding access to education, resources, and justice.
